In the 2005-2006 season the Wisconsin Badgers athletic programs collectively won four National Titles in men’s Cross Country, men’s and women’s Ice Hockey, and was finally capped off by the women’s lightweight Crew team winning their third straight title. The men’s Basketball team also won the school’s only National Champion ship in the 1941 season. In college football’s most played rivalry the Wisconsin Badgers play the University of Minnesota every year for the famous Paul Bunyan’s Axe Trophy. You can see the school’s official mascot, Bucky the Badger, roaming the sidelines during every Wisconsin home game leading the Badger faithful cheer on their beloved team.
